This page describes how this version of Payday Room handles data. Payday Room is operated by Gen. A Ishimwe.
What you enter
The app stores the balances, schedules, spending records, goals, and preferences you choose to enter. Manual accounts do not require bank access. If you choose to connect a supported bank through Plaid, Plaid processes your bank authentication and the app receives account balances and transaction information. Payday Room never asks for or stores your bank password. Do not put passwords, full account numbers, or card details in record descriptions.
Sign-in and storage
ChatGPT sign-in provides a site-specific user ID and account identity. The ID identifies your saved workspace. Your money entries and license key are encrypted by the server before they are stored. The application decrypts them to display your plan when you are authorised; this is not end-to-end encryption. Infrastructure providers may process ordinary service logs and account information.
Purchases
Gumroad handles checkout and payment details. When you activate a purchase, your license key and the product ID are sent to Gumroad. The app checks the purchase status and links one license to one signed-in account. Your balances, bills, and spending entries are not sent to Gumroad for verification.
Ask My Money
When you agree and send a message, your message and a limited summary of your own saved financial data are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. The app sends computed totals, relevant dates, and limited record details, never bank passwords or access tokens. Requests set API response storage to false. OpenAI may process data under its applicable API data policies. Chat history is encrypted in Payday Room and can be deleted in the conversation interface. The AI cannot move money or change your records.
Business analytics and learning
The app records limited activity events, account access status, payment verification metadata, AI request counts, token usage, and estimated service costs. Business analytics do not show private financial transactions or AI messages. Course enrollments, lesson completion, and coaching bookings are stored to deliver those services. Administrators must complete additional authenticator verification for business controls; sensitive changes are audited.
Optional email reminders
If you enable reminders, bill and loan names, amounts, and due dates are sent through Resend to your ChatGPT sign-in email. These messages use your saved records and may be delayed or fail. They contain no account balances or bank tokens. Disable reminders in Settings & backup at any time.
The demo and your exports
The demo starts with fictional data and saves changes only in the current browser tab’s session storage. Closing the tab may remove them. The demo does not save a customer workspace to the server. Backups and CSV downloads contain your entries in plain text; keep those files private.
Controls and retention
Use Settings & backup to export your plan or delete its active saved record and the app’s retained plan snapshots. Disconnect linked banks first. The app normally retains up to 20 encrypted versions for recovery. AI conversations can be deleted separately. Deletion does not cancel or refund a purchase, erase transaction records held by Gumroad, or remove a purchase entitlement. Infrastructure backups may retain earlier copies according to provider retention. For help with account or license information, contact the operator.
